6:30 PM update
No real news right now. I spoke with an OR nurse about 5:30 (an hour ago) and he said everything was still going according to plan, no problems. They were still working on putting in the graft, so lots of fine technical work connecting veins, artery, and nerves. At that point the estimate for when the surgery would end was 7:00 PM, but he warned me that it can take longer. As he put it "it will take as long as it takes, but everything is going well."

Thanks again for the update. I know the surgeons are being extremely meticulous with every part of the surgery, and it does take time. Very glad to hear all is well with Mike. Tricia, hope you are doing okay during this long day.
